Masking To Make An Image Better
This week I had a couple of questions about how I sharpen my images. In the old days when you sharpened an image it made everything sharp so I didn’t use it very often. I did not like the way that it made my backgrounds look. Then Lightroom allowed you to mask in the sharpening, and it changed how I processed my images. Now I can get my find details sharpened without taking away from the creamy bokeh. I made a video above showing just how I do this. Try it out on one of your photos and let me know what you think.
